Overview of accessibility

Description of the building

The Department of Physiology and the Department of Pathophysiology of the 3^rd Faculty of Medicineof CU are located in a historical preserved two-storey building.

Entrance

Pedestrian access to thebuilding from the nearest public transportation stop in Wenzigova Street leadsalong a pavement with smooth tiles.

The main entrance to thebuilding is not barrier-free. A barrier-free secondary entrance is notavailable. The double-panel door of the main entrance (main panel width 73 cm,secondary panel width 76 cm) with a stone threshold (height 4 cm) opensmechanically inwards. A doorbell (height 143 cm) with a two-way communication systemis located to the left of the door. There is a reception area behind theentrance. Immediately behind the single-panel door (width 86 cm) which closesthe vestibule, there is a staircase (11 steps up) to the 1^stabove-ground floor.

Interior

The floors of the building areconnected only by multi-level staircases. The doors dividing the corridors andthe doors of the individual rooms are mostly double-panel (minimum width 2x 58cm). The manoeuvring space is restricted in places.

Lift

There is no lift in thebuilding.

Sanitary facilities

The building has only standardsanitary facilities.
