Centrum Carolina is one of the departments of the Charles University Information, Counselling and Social Centre (ICSC). Our services are intended for all students who during their study find themselves in a situation when they need help. Our prime purpose is to provide support to individuals with a health disability or social disadvantage but we can be approached by anybody who faces any kind of obstacle during their course of study.
The activities of the Centre are focused on the following areas:
support for students and applicants with special needs
support for students and applicants who are disadvantaged socially and economically (e.g. students with a low income or with young children)
provision of advisory services (for all CU students)
support for the activities of student societies
Besides a more detailed description of our activities, this website contains all the other information you might find useful during your course. This will give you an idea of the support options offered by the University and its faculties. There is also information about specialised non-university organisations.
We believe we can help you sail smoothly through your course!
