            Centrum Carolina is one of the departments of the CU Point [ URL "https://ukpoint.cuni.cz/

            Our services are offered to all students who find themselves in a situation where they nee
            their studies. Our primary purpose is to provide support to individuals with a health disa
            disadvantage, as well as people who experience sexual or other kinds of harassment. Howeve

            during their course of study.


            A coordination centre of services for students with any kind of disadvantage has been a pa
            University since 1996, called Centrum Carolina (the Carolina Centre) since 2018. The goal 

            to ensure an equal support for students from all 17 faculties. We adapt flexibly to news a
            field – be it new technologies or services. We appreciate any feedback from students!


            The activities of the Centre are focused on the following areas:
            • support for students and applicants with special needs
            • support for students and applicants who are disadvantaged socially and economically (e.g

              a low income or with young children)
            • provision of advisory services (for all CU students)
            • support for the activities of student societies
