Have I got dyslexia? Where can I find help?
Dyslexia is a learning difficulty which means that people learn in a different way. Reading and writing may be difficult but individuals with dyslexia have their potential and they can achieve a lot. University students are sometimes not aware that their study difficulties are caused by dyslexia as they managed to compensate the difficulties by their high cognitive abilities at elementary and secondary school. The seminar will list various signs of dyslexia and introduce basic sources of help and support. We will also discuss how to cope with dyslexia in everyday life and within one's study career.
