A specialist will explain learning techniques and methods to study more effectively with a disadvantage.


Training in study strategies is provided mainly through individual consultations (either one-off or regular).

Students with hearing impairments

• developing competencies necessary for effective work with written text (including academic reading and writing), for effective use of sign languages in the academic environment, and in general the competencies necessary for successful university study, including effective use of:

  • interpreting,

  • transcription,

  • note-taking and other support and organizational measures.

Students with physical disabilities

  • training in effective work with computer or other assistive technology.

Students with specific learning disabilities, ADHD

  • training in strategies for working with texts (efficient reading, orientation in documents of various types, lengths, and structures),

  • training in working with software that allows text accuracy control,

  • analysis of current learning style and support in choosing a suitable learning style,

  • support in coping with stress and anxiety related to studies,

  • techniques for stress reduction.
