If you are applying to study at Charles University and have special needs arising from your health condition, you can request modifications to the admission process.
When creating your application, check the box for "Request for modification of the admission process due to disability".
Select the type of special needs. You may be inspired by how your high school exam was adjusted. If you need guidance, don't hesitate to contact the person responsible for students with special needs at the faculty where you are applying.
As an attachment to your online application, upload at least one of the documents listed below (we recommend uploading documents containing recommendations related to modifying the admission process and any potential future study modifications).
a. Document about disability from your previous studies or from your doctor, or
b. Document of special learning disability, or
c. Document of autism spectrum disorder based on a comprehensive examination by a clinical psychologist, or
d. Medical report on the results of a specialized medical examination.
After submitting the application with the modification request, the responsible person for modifications at your faculty will automatically contact you.
Each faculty has a document listing the conditions for admission to study in a specific academic year. Additionally, there are general admission rules that apply to the entire university. You can find the university and faculty admission conditions here.
Each faculty has a contact person for students with special educational needs, whom you can also approach regarding the admission process.
In addition to contact persons, you can reach out to the Admissions Department or the Study Department, which is responsible for the admission process at your faculty.
Of course, you can also contact staff at the Carolina Center.
