I studied Czech Language and Art History at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. My research focuses on early modern architecture and heritage conservation; professionally, I work as an editor. For several years, I worked at the National Heritage Institute as editor-in-chief of the journal Zprávy památkové péče. Currently, I am head of the Publications Department at the Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes. As an editor, author, or co-author, I have contributed to numerous scholarly publications, as well as academic and popular science studies and articles.

I work as a support coordinator for students with visual impairments at the Carolina Centre. I also manage the digitization centre and the study room for students with special needs. My work includes counseling and consultation not only for students with visual impairments but also for students with other specific needs. I share my experience with students at the Faculty of Arts, where I co-teach the course Digitization for Students with Special Needs. Both counseling and digitization of study literature are available to applicants to Charles University as well.

I work at the Institute of Deaf Studies, Faculty of Arts, Charles University, as a specialist consultant for the study of deaf and hard-of-hearing students, and I manage the NaNUK website. I studied occupational therapy at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, and Czech in Communication of the Deaf (now Languages and Communication of the Deaf) at the Faculty of Arts. I am currently completing my master’s in single-subject Psychology at the same faculty.


In occupational therapy, I specialize in diagnostics and neurorehabilitation of patients with acquired brain injuries, psychogenic movement disorders, and patients with low rehabilitation motivation. I also work in a research team in the Netherlands as a neurolinguistic diagnostician. In the past, I collaborated with the Labour Office on ergodiagnostics (assessment of current work potential) and workplace adjustments for clients with special needs seeking employment. I am a native speaker of Czech Sign Language, and diagnostics can also be conducted in this language (as well as in written/spoken Czech and English).

I graduated in Special Education at the Faculty of Education, Masaryk University in Brno. For several years, I worked with children with hearing impairments. I led summer camps and leisure clubs for pupils with autism spectrum disorder. Over the past four years, I have focused on creating individual plans and setting support measures for pupils and students with ASD. At the Carolina Centre, I currently focus on study strategy training.

How can I help you?

I studied Psychology and Special Education at Charles University, completing my doctorate in Educational Psychology. In my teaching, I focus mainly on developmental psychology. I completed courses in psychodiagnostics, crisis intervention, group counseling, and systemic and family therapy training.


In my practice, I focus on academic, personal, and relational difficulties of students, study skills training, and stress management. My therapeutic and counseling work is based on a systemic approach, which allows me to view clients’ difficulties within a broader context.


Consultations by individual arrangement via email. Sessions take place in person or online.
