Based on the Rector’s Measure No. 5/2024, Charles University exempts applicants from Ukraine who have been granted temporary protection in the Czech Republic from paying the admission fee.

Rules for admission fee waivers/reimbursement:

• The exemption applies to the admission fee for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral study programmes.

• It applies to applicants who have been granted temporary protection in the Czech Republic in connection with the armed conflict in Ukraine.

• The applicant submits their application and must subsequently provide the faculty with a copy of their identity document (see Rector’s Measure 5/2024) or present the document in person.

• The rules apply to all applications submitted between 19 February 2024 and 31 August 2025.
