What equipment you can borrow

Currently, it is possible to borrow the following items:


  • Laptops: various brands, 13–16" screens.

  • Tablet Lenovo Tab P11 Pro or P12 + Lenovo Pen: allows inserting images, switching between keyboard and pen.

  • Remarkable tablet with pen: suitable for writing and organizing materials, handwritten notes, drawing, annotating PDFs; simulates writing on paper. Not designed for reading books or watching videos. Especially useful for students with learning disabilities (SpLD).

  • Kindle Scribe tablet: suitable for reading e-books and academic texts; e-ink technology is gentle on the eyes; allows note-taking and highlighting; limited internet access. Comes with a pen. Useful for students with SpLD.

  • Onyx 2-in-1 tablet and reader: Onyx 7 Go Color with E Ink color display. Supports many file formats (PDF, EPUB, DOC, etc.), allows cloud sync, and can read text aloud – useful for students with visual impairments or dyslexia.

  • E-readers: Kindle and other brands; for reading electronic documents only.

  • Noise-cancelling headphones: brands such as Peltor and HoneyWell, with varying noise reduction levels. Suitable for use in medium to high noise environments, helpful for students with ADHD or autism to improve concentration.

  • Loops 3-in-1 headphones: discreet headphones that combine:

    • noise reduction (e.g., in large classrooms, exams, or group work),

    • sound protection for sensitive ears (for students with ADHD, autism, or anxiety),

    • basic communication without complete isolation (unlike standard headphones).

  • ClaroRead software: reads displayed text aloud with a synthetic voice while highlighting it on screen, connecting spoken and written forms. Useful for students with SpLD or reading/writing difficulties.

  • Pocket magnifier (Compact Mini): handheld video magnifier, enlarges up to 11× on a 3.5" screen, simple and comfortable to use. Suitable for students with visual impairments.

  • Braille display – Braille Voyager: tactile reading device for blind users, enabling text display in Braille from scanned/OCR-recognized sources, the internet, or own notes.

  • Dictaphones: for high-quality audio recording, useful for research interviews. Brands available: Eltrinex, Philips, Olympus.


If you need other types of equipment, contact us via the email below. After agreement, additional items can be purchased.


Who the service is for

The service is intended for students with special needs, or for those in socio-economically disadvantaged situations (e.g., recipients of social or increased accommodation scholarships).


The standard loan period is six months, with the possibility of extension if there are no other registered applicants for the item.


All borrowing conditions are governed by a loan agreement.
