Erasmus+ Study Support

Incoming Students

If you are an incoming student with special needs from a foreign university, please get in touch with the contact person at your faculty before your arrival here. To use services and request modifications, you will need to provide documentation regarding the services you use at your home university, or medical reports if applicable. The documents should be in English or Czech, either as an official translation or as a translation provided by the sending university.

If you have special accommodation requirements due to your special needs, please write to the e-mail . The dormitories have a limited number of single rooms, accessible rooms, and rooms equipped with visual fire alarms for students with hearing impairments. Some room types may not be immediately available and students are selected based on the type of diagnosis. To request a special type of room, please provide a statement from your university or a medical report along with a description of your situation. We will contact you, and if appropriate, you will be placed on a waiting list.

If you take medication and are not sure whether it is available in the Czech Republic, please inform the contact person. In some cases, Czech practice may differ from international practice (for example, regarding extended time during exams). You can also seek information from the staff at the Carolina Centre via .

Another contact for you could be the International Student Hub, which deals with various aspects of student internationalization. The staff also organize events such as the Orientation Day for international students. You can contact them via email: or visit their website here.
