Study materials can be digitized based on individual agreement, primarily into docx or pdf formats.
Study literature is digitized by the Digitization Centre at Carolina Centre, which also offers a variety of additional services for visually impaired students.
To request the digitisation of a study material or to obtain already digitised study materials, you must:
be registered at the Digitization Center at Centrum Carolina,
have signed a Declaration of Compliance with Copyright Law.
Students from the Faculty of Protestant Theology or the Carolina Centre can request digitisation by e-mail or phone. The digitised document will then be delivered: by e-mail, via a data storage service, or directly uploaded to a reading device or flash drive.
Where to Find Already Digitized Books:
UKAŽ,
in the CU Digital Repository DSpace,
via the Daleth (you must check "Carolina" on the right side of the page).
The DSpace repository allows direct downloads of special digitized titles for students registered as students with special needs in:
category A (students with visual impairments),
category D (students with specific learning disabilities).
Please send your digitisation requests by e-mail to at least one month in advance.
Electronic versions of study materials can also be accessed through other university or external sources.
The centre digitizes books for all faculties. If you are from the Faculty of Catholic, Hussite or Protestant Theology, please request digitization through your faculty libraries.
